Finally, Google Colab has added the L4 GPU. It’s slightly cheaper to use than the V100, 4.82 units/hour, and has 22.5 GB of memory (against 16 GB for the V100).

That’s cheap! Around $0.45, in Europe, or $0.33 in Japan. (I don’t know the cost in America yet)

The L4 is recent and exploits the Ada Lovelace architecture so it’s compatible with bfloat16, flash attention, AWQ, Marlin, etc.

Now, we don’t have to use the expensive A100 to experiment with new techniques on Colab!
